Until 1992 when the last freeholds were bought from the GLC, evictions could technically happen any time. Matthew Simmons living at 103 Bishops Way took this sequence of an eviction. He also documented the stages the council undertook to make the homes uninhabitable such as smashing toilets and taking out windows. These are Matthews original prints framed for the Story of Squatters exhibition.
